5 lovely guestbook ideas!

Maybe guestbook isn't really a necessary thing at a wedding, but for sure it will be great remembrance.

I am not a huge fan of casual guestbooks, because I find them kind of boring, but I gathered a few unconventional ideas, which you may like!

CALENDAR

Let's begin from the cheapest and the simplest idea.

The guestbook in the form of the calendar doesn't require much effort, but looks very original!

You may tell your guests to leave a note on the date of their birth, what will help you remember about every important jubilarian in the future:)

FINGERPRINT TREE

Fingerprinting is very effective and elegant idea.

We can buy a special picture at an online shop but it is a quite expensive solution, so we can also paint or print our own project in the chosen size.

Don't worry if you don't have great design abilities, there are plenty of printables on the internet which you can use for free.

It doesn't have to necessarily be a tree, it can be also balloon or heart... It depends on the imagination.

GLOBE

This is a great solution for people who love to travel.

It looks very romantic!

ENVELOPES

Preparing this kind of guestbook can be quite a time consuming, but is very inimitable.

QUESTIONNAIRE

Asking for your guests' opinion is a very interesting idea.

Guests will surely fill the questionnaire with a smile on their face.

Designing this kind of survey isn't very complicated, but you can also use free printables from the internet.

Wedding DIY - Alcohol hangers

Hello!
Today I will present you my first DIY tutorial.
I was searching the internet for inspiration to alcohol hangers and I found a very interesting idea - a tie.

That decoration is available to buy in many online shops, but I decided to try to do it by myself.
It turned out to be very easy to make, and I think, that it is worth to share my technique with you!

All we gonna need is :

- three sizes of ribbon  -  the best will be 25 mm, 12 mm and 6 mm
- scissors
- lighter
- glue or  two-sided sticky tape

At the beginning we cut out a part of the widest ribbon in a shape like on this picture and carefully burn the cut edges by the lighter so they won't unravel.

Next, we fold our ribbon and we tie the top, using the narrow band.

Then we cut out unnecessary parts of narrow ribbon.

The following step is cutting a part of the 12 mm ribbon. The length depends on our bottleneck.

At one end we add some glue, or we stick some tape.
Now, all we need to do is hang our tie on the bottleneck.

Done!

This tutorial can be useful not only for a wedding, but you can also use this decoration when you give someone alcohol as a gift for some occasion :)
